Pin-UpsThe deconstructed Pin-Ups have taken those from the Sketchbook series as a point of departure and integrated them into a much deeper statement involving associations with broader artistic references. The pin-up itself (herself) has become secondary to the process of painting — to the deconstruction, the alluded to faux “silk screen” process that is the actual subject of the painting.
